Omar
Cervantes, funder
of XCL Engineering, is a
professional engineer with
B.S. Civil Engineering from
University of Sonora. He is
registered in the State of
Arizona and Mexico and has
more than 17 years of
experience in engineering
design and construction. His
expertise include Public
Works, Transportation, Water
and Wastewater
infrastructure planning and
design, Drainage structures,
Storm drain systems,
hydrologic studies and value
engineering analysis for
optimum design and cost.
Mr. Cervantes has been involved
in the design, construction and
management of several
multi-million-dollar projects in
the United States and Mexico.
He was responsible for
the construction and design of
the amusement parks “Aquafantastic”
and “Terrafantastic,” the first
water-land parks of their kind
in northwest Mexico.
Additional projects
include the design of water and
wastewater systems, treatment
plants, lift stations, sewer
mains, construction and design
of several transportation
projects, a significant number
of commercial sites, industrial
parks and petroleum plants in
Mexico and United States.
Mr. Cervantes has been involved
in several projects in Arizona,
Sonora and California that
helped built his vast experience
and strengthens his knowledge of
standards and requirements for
local, state and federal
agencies.
He is actively involve in the
civil engineering community and
is affiliated to the American
Society of Civil Engineers, AZ
Society of Professional
Engineers, American Public Works
Association, Project Management
Institute and Camara Nacional de
la Industria de Construction in
Mexico.
